How To Write SEO Content Introduction for Affiliate Articles

Let’s say you’re a web content writer having a year-long experience.
Now you have to write affiliate review content, but because of less amount of relevant experience, you are afraid either you’ll be able to deliver desired quality or not.
As a result, you may not be able to even start the content properly.
Now there is a reason as to why you’re getting this block.
Even if you’re able to craft an engaging start, the requirement to optimize the content around a target keyword gets into the game.
Quiet, unfortunately, the keyword is a long tail, and you’ve got no choice left but to ruin the readability and engagement of your content.
That ends the motivation to even write.
What can be worse than to make your precious readers click the back button as soon as they visit your page?

How an Engaging Content Introduction Looks Like

Now, this is what you should look at before you start typing.
Engaging Content Introduction
Apart from how I planned to write this post, I once went through the stuff available online.
Along with some common things which I already knew, I encountered pretty cool stuff.
Below are some actionable tasks which make your content more engaging.
  • Address Your Readers: Use the word “You” with a conversational tone.
  • Make Your Readers Emotional: Share something common to your readers and related to the topic
  • Be Exciting: This is a part of making your readers emotional. Play with their dreams relevant to the target topic.
  • Why you’re Writing This: Try to figure out why you’re writing this, no matter whatever it is.
  • Tell a Story: Did I tell a story in this article yet. You’ll find a lot of intros with a story.
  • Question: Ask questions. This method to start an article is becoming saturated but if you’ll keep practicing, you can still come up with questions that can hook your readers.
  • Tell the truth: It’s more like stating a fact.
  • Use Quote: Self-explanatory
  • Anecdotes: It’s a kind of short story.
  • Identify Your Reader’s Problem: This should be your prime focus when you’re up to building a content asset for affiliate promotions. The more you explore your reader’s problems, the more you’ll be able to keep them engaged.
  • Give Hint: How are you going to solve their problem. Give them a hint. It will keep them hooked
  • The End of the Story First:
  • Write Introduction at the last: This is interesting. Try it.
  • Editing: All I can say, Put as many efforts as you can
  • Practice, Practice & Practice: What else I should write here
  • Minimize Modifiers:..! You should stop using “Literally” and a lot of others
  • Don’t Repeat: when I say avoid fillers, I mean this one as well.
  • Follow A Structure: Now this is a little contradictory. Some experts say not to be formulaic. But when you’re writing on different styles, you should prefer this approach
If one-liner isn’t explaining the strategy properly, you can explore below resources:
